I got a 96 ek and dropping a 99 b16...I have the whole wire harness going from the engine to the ecu...Is it all plug and play or is there other wiring that needs to be done?

 

use your stock harness and wire it up for vtec.
or get an EX harness

 

he cant use his stock harness because it wont plug into the 99 ECU.

 

The only way you can use your harness is if you re-pin every wire for the ECU plugs. It is a PITA and takes a while.

I researched it a while back when I was scouting out what kind of swap I wanted. I

 

I got the 99 si harness and ecu..I got the harness going to the ecu not cut...I just wanna know if its plug and play or is there other wiring i need to do..Cause i heard from some people its plug and play and others tell me I still gotta wire some **** up
