WHEN IM IN HIGH RMS LIKE 5 AND UP AND LET OFF THE GAS MY SHIFTER KINDA DOES A BOUNCING MOVEMENT.

WHEN THE CAR KIND OF JERKS FROM THE WINDING DOWN. FEELS LIKE THE TRANNYS MOVING BUT I CHECKED THE MOUNT AND ITS NICE AND TIGHT.....

IM NOT SURE WHY THIS WOULD BE....

Unlock your caps.

IMO your mounts and bushings are getting old.

Start with the cheap $15.00 shifter bushing kit.

Then try inserts or the cheap way, fill the mounts with silicone sealant.

 

sorry i use caps at work so yeah.... anyways its a stock 2000 em1. ill try that tho.... thanx.

 

mounts are soggy letting the engine/transmission move.

did it just start happening or has it always been like that. one of you motor mounts where it is actully welded to the chasis could be craked.

Sounds like a typical case of stock motor mounts.

 

how long do you think i can drive like this? i dont drive fast or crazy... ... just from point A to pint B.

96 and newer are worse for this than any others for some reason.

usually its the rear mount that causes the most movement. start there.

 

BUMP UP THE JAMMMMMMMMMMMM

 

E.S motor mount inserts pretty much eliminated any and all shifter movment when i got them.
