Hey people, i have a question, i swaped in a b16 in my 91 si and when car is fully warmed up and steady idle, my rpm is reading at 1000 rpm, and when im driving it engaging vtec, vtec pops at 4200 rpm which suppose to be 5200 rpm and its redlining at 7800 rpm which is not normal for a obd0 pr3 ecu.
let me know what might be the problem and to solve this situation.

It is 8000rpm redline.. v-tec at 5000rpm for the first gen.
2nd gen b16a 8200, dont know about the a2's,a3's though...
Maybe you should see if you could try another of the same ecu to be sure.. maybe your ecu has been modded?

Does your Tach go crazy at any time? Like I can rev it out but once it hits the 90' CRX Tach redline it goes straight to 9K and back up to the start of the redline....
I think its my ECU... not sure tho.
I just bought the car this week and Im learning fast about it but still havent fixed all my probs lol.
Is that all its doing? Not hitting the right RPMS at the Vtech point?
