B16 early vtec
my vtec on my b16 in my 91 crx comes on at about 4500 rpms and rev limites at about 7800 im a little curious about the vtec coming on so early does any one know why and if its good or bad

my b16 was right on with the tach until the last few months i had it... the tach was reading exactly like you described it... i didn't really have an answer why but i believed the tach was off all of a sudden... if you have a friend who has an aftermarket tach you can borrow, try that, other than that i don't know.

so i checked my ecu to see if its an auto as mentioned and its not also it is a PR3 ecu OBD0 and it is throwing a coolant tempature code and i double checked all the wires and the seemed to all be pluged in correctly
