Default Autometer Oil pressure sender on turbo (instead of behind the block)?

I'm thinking of installing my Autometer Oil pressure sender right at the oil feed port on the turbo, so I can get an accurate oil pressure reading in my turbo. Is it a bad idea? TIA.

Why?? You really want a good pressure reading from the motor itself. In reality the high oil pressures from the motor arent the best for turbo's. They like lower pressures--around 40-60.
Plus it will probably look sloppy too.
Just keep it coming from the back of the block.

I'm too lazy to do any work on the back of the block

I put mine inline going to the turbo. I also put an adjustable valve so I could turn the pressure down going to the turbo. I used to see 75+ PSI at the turbo..Now I see around 25-30 max when it is fully warmed up. It hit 50 when the car is cold. But turning the pressure down really help my oil leak on the turbo. It still seeps out but it's not as bad.

where did you buy the adjustable valve from ? Could you take some pics of your set up?

I'm also interested in this adjustable valve...I've heard of people of just inserting an intermediary connected with a smaller ID to act as a bottle neck and lower the pressure
