starter won't crank. so i took a screw driver and made contact on th - and + and the starter worked.So what can it be? another problem i now have is my rpms start jumping up and down while at idle and driving at the same time my temp needle also goes crazy. It started out as I was coming home from school I turned of the car cause my car started miss firing and my temp needle was all the way up. I then jump started the car and and noticed that when i reved the car my temp needle would go up and as the rpm died the temp also dropped, then the car would try to die at idle and it seemed as if i had a short somewhere. The lights on the dash got dim then turned all the way on.then they would shot off and turn on. So im getting another dizzy tommorow but what else can i check.
