You can use it temporarily. Like moving the car from the street and into the driveway. I wouldn't daily drive with it on. I guess you could, but you won't have VTAKKKK.
I'm using one on my JDM D15B VTEC because of a recent smog renewal. No problems here, but it is slower due to the maps and non-VTEC ECU. Good for temporary use, but the proper computer for the proper engine should be your end goal.
