Default New Build seems hard to crank over...

The parts:
Stock LS Block
Stock LS Crank
Weisco pistons
Eagle LS rods
ACL bearings/Thrust Washers

Well I'm building a LS VTEC for my CRX and I have run into a potential problem:

- with all 4 rods/pistons connected (no head on) the crank is hard to turn over by hand at the very beginning of every crank attempt, then it seems to go smoothly after it has been started and has momentum. When you stop and leave it for a minute and try to another crank attempt it sticks for a second and takes quite a bit to get it to start moving then it goes ok.If I take the #4 rod off the crank spins freely, very smooth right from the get go. The Clearances were all within spec when I plastiguaged them. Everything was torqued to spec also.

(sorry if it's difficult to understand, it's hard to describe properly)

Will the "tightness" go away after a short break in? Or will it end up as a spun bearing? I was told it would be alright but I don't want to take any chances.

Any knowledgeable input is appreciated.

hmmm, yeah i was wondering about them also. I bought them slightly used off a friend so it's definetly possible.

I was hoping it would go away after i added the oil, but best not to risk it
