Default Antenna Wire that goes into the radio???

Well the previous owners of my car had some how ripped it off so its just the bare wire without the metal plug that goes into the radio...Would I have to get a whole new wire or can i somehow splice the existing one?

Thanks...I did search BTW.

You'll need to purchase a new "motorola"-type end, and solder & crimp it on to your existing antenna wire.

You can replace the whole ant.... http://www.installer.com/antenna/ant.html

Or pick one of these up... http://www.installer.com/item/...-uv40 at any car audio shop and most car parts shops and electronic parts shops.

Before you get anything, confirm that you do not have a short ant. extension, [fallow the ant lead back as far as you can] some Honda/Acura have a short extension on the ant. lead and you may just need to reroute the lead to reach your new HU or get one of these... http://www.installer.com/item/...-ec6r 94
