HELP - changing fuel line/pipe from fuel tank to fuel filter
Hi guys, i did a search and couldn't seem to find any topics relating to my problem, so here goes.
1992 civic.
My intake was rubbing my fuel pipe, the one that connects to the right side of the fuel filter. This made a small hole, which i used JB Weld to cover up. Now the fuel seems to be seeping through the JB Weld and I would like to change that pipe. It looks a little complicated since it's attached to the car in several places.
I was wondering if anyone has ever changed this pipe before in their car and if it was an easy job, or one of those take it to the mechanic type of thing. i think i saw the pipe for like 50 bucks at majestic honda.
Thanks

I had to change my lines for the rear lines for my brake and i completely took out the hardline and converted to SS. Its quit a bit of work. Have to drop the subframe. If you dont have patiences for it i wouldnt recommend it.
Depending on where the hole is i would recommend cutting and reflaring the fitting down. Easier and quicker.

oh yah, btw, the hole is just right before where it attaches to the fuel filter, maybe right before the bend

Any shop should be able to do it. Any place that deals with brakes. If you want we could do it as well. All this is is labor so youll probably pay hourly. Or you could pick up a flare set and a tube cutter and do it yourself.
