Default Steering Wheel Type R Emblem COMMENTS PLZ

Hi!!! well I'm doing the ITR conversion on my Rsx-s. As all of you know the exterior is as important as the interior. My car has the acura sign on the steering wheel, and I hate it. The good thing is that a friend of mine has an ep3 with a blown engine and he is willing to trade his steering wheel with mine. What I want to do is just to take the airbag cover(the one that has the A for acura) off and replace it with the EP3. I know its not the red H but I'm on a budget because I'm getting coilovers soon. NOW MY QUESTION IS: HOW DO I POP THE AIRBAG COVER OFF WITHOUT BREAKING ANYTHING ON MY CAR AND ON MY FRIENDS CAR??? THANKS

There's 2 tabs on the back cover of the steering wheel. Pry those out and you'll have access to the airbag mounts. Make sure the batt is disconected, you wouldnt want to pop the airbag for some bizzare reason.

I meant a repair manual. It should cover just about everything on the car, including how to remove certain things such as the air bags.

Definitely wait like 30 minutes with the battery disconnected before doing airbag work.

Do not take the plastic cover off the airbag, bad idea

That plastic cover is held to the airbag by rivets. If you do not rivet it correctly back on and you get into an accident, you are getting hit in the face with that hard plastic cover.

I swapped the whole EP3 steering wheel into my old DC5. I bought the wheel with an emblem sticker. eBay used to have them, but I don't know if they are there still.
