ok i did a b-series swap on my ek is a 00 civic dx i had a built single cam turbo n just took it out sence gas is up the rooofff

here is my problem
i had the dx harness that is obd2b n the obd2 ls distributor i have have differnt plugs... so what i did was this i swap the plugs from a obd2ba to a obd2b n still no spark the thing is that all colors match but there was a extra wire any one have an idead on what to do in this case hope people understand me i just dint wanna spend money in buying a vtak harness when i can just modified mine

I don't think there should be an extra wire, but if you just did the swap, is the ground wire on thethermostat housing hooked up and tight? cuz you won't get any spark if not. pulled my hair out for 2 weeks due to this problem once, felt so stupid

 

i just finish the swap i am 100 percent the plug is the problem i need diagram or 00 si plug or if some one did this before how did they get it going
