so i had an idle problem a while back took off the iacv cleaned it cleaned the tb and adjusted the idle with the screw on the tb everything was fine til about a week and a half ago it started back up only now it only happens after the car has been runing at operating temp for a good while but as its been going on its seems to take less time for it to start to act up any ideas?, maybe the timings off?

check for vacume leak, and if timing is off a teeth, car will idel rough when it first fires up.

 

well it dosent ilde rough at start up just a lilttle high takes a little while even when its warm out but eventually goes down to normal guess im gonna go hunt for another vac leak tomorrow

 

The best way to find a vac. leak is to spray carb cleaner on the spot you think may be leaking. the car will bog a lil and idle will drop when you hit the spot. Try spraying around the IM gasket, that's where I had the same problem.
