I searched but couldnt find anything on what i was looking for.

The inner cv joint on the drivers side popped out on me and i couldnt push it back in. So i took the boot off to see what was wrong. I can get the spider gears back in and everything but it wont pivot at. The whole axle is just staying straight cuz the inner joint is not pivoting. What am i doing wrong?? I know that it is not broke. I need help with this asap if anyone knows how to do this.

is the boot torn? if it is and it doesnt spin anymore you probably have to replace the halfshaft.
