VTEC with MSD RPM controller?
A friend at work has a DA with a B16 swap. He's running an ECU for a non-VTEC engine. He bought an MSD RPM controller to engage VTEC at the factory 5200 rpm. will the motor behave right without a VTEC ECU with VTEC fuel maps?
i was under the impression you had to have the VTEC fuel maps on the ECU for it to run correctly.
