comptech icebox intake or aem cold air?
I prefer my $10 DIY Icebox w/ $35 K&N modified to fit my stock airbox.

Well I will break it down IMO.
AEM
pros 1.great high end power(probobly the best intake avail at high RPM's
cons
1.loud as hell
2.hydrolocking
3.slight loss in low and mid range power
Ice box, this is just how I see it,some HT members may feel different.
1.OEM sound, not loud at all in the box
2.short ram=great throttle response
3.very very slim chance of hyrolocking
4.great low and mid range power with almost as good as the AEM at high rpm, maybe 1 to 2 wheel hp,in which the AEM bypass valve will almost make them indentical.

as you can see the AEM and INJEN have a midrange hump around 4k where they produce more power than the icebox.
