Need Help! Condensation in my bumper lenses
Does anyone else have a problem with their bumper lenses getting condensation in them? If so, what can I do to fix the problem, instead of replacing them with the stock ones? I have APC lenses and the only one that does it is the driver side one. Someone told me that APC aftermarket lenses seem to always do this, not sure if that is true or not.
Hey you live in San Antonio, I will be moving there soon, how is the import scene there? and my friend has APC taillights for his 93 Civic EG aka Hatchback and his taillights also get condensation in them so I guess it is common with APC. Someone should write them and tell them that they need to fix this prob!
Remove the bumper lenses, clean them up, apply a bead of silicone where the lense meets the housing, let them dry and put them back on. This should solve your condensation problem.
The import scene here in SA isn't all that great. At least not as big as Houston. I'll try the silicone and see what happens, unless anyone has other suggestions as to what other brands may be better. I couldn't put the stock ones on because the driver's side has a hole in it from where a rock hit it. Thanks everyone!
