Do turn signal and brake lights have to be a certain color? because i'm thinking that clear corners AND clear tails (not tezzas ... clear) would look clean.

 

The appereance forum would be an excellent place to ask questions about the color of your signals.

I'd check local laws. In texas clear front is ok, but the brake lights must show red light.

IMO on some color tegs clear corners look good. My favorite tails are the 98+ all red ones.

i have a white teg... i think it would look clean. I think the clear tails would look clean too because of the fact that not many people have them. If you buy these tails lights/corner lights do they come with the proper bulbs? or do you need to buy them? Also can you install these yourself easily?

 

A cop told me that technically turn signals (and sidemarkers) have to signal either amber or red in color... and brake lights have to signal in red. I guess any color other than that a cop CAN technically pull you over if he feels like he/she wants you to. A cop pulled me over for having white signal lights as an excuse for him to pop my hood!!!! Oh i'm in So. Cali.... i'm sure the laws vary from state to state!

To answer your question, yes they're SUPPOSED TO come with the amber/red bulbs. I'd call and make sure first though. They are really easy to install. Hope this helps.

not too many people have clear tail lights because they went out in 1999 man.. but, do what you wanna do..

 

well in 1999 i didn't have my liscence... and there are many people around this area (SA, Texas) that sport bling bling stunna hardcore. Most people around here have altezzas and such, but i think altezzas do not look better than then the stock lights. I'm definately not going to just order them w/o seeing them in person at a shop first. Because i'd like to be able to hold them up to my ccar and make sure it matches.

 

yup true dat on finding one at a shop. I went to a local performance place today and they said they do not carry/sell them because they are illegal here and they don't want people getting tickets. They said some **** bout them not having reflectors or something. Oh well i'll stick with my stock tails then... they look good.
