Yes i searched but could not find anything specific.
So yesterday on a 1991 Accord automatic EX i replaced the positive battery terminal with a universal one from Kragen. The reason i did this b/c for some reason everytime i came to a stop sign or light the car would shake and turn off on me so i thought it could be my loos battery terminal. So after replacing it now the car has a hard time starting it will crank fine but its like it doenst want to turn over like no spark. I finally get it to start after cranking forever. It drove fine and no stalling but once i turn it off again it wont start. I pulled the spark plug wires from the cylinder wells and there was oil on the tips of the wires. Could this make the plugs bad and hard for me to start. Thanks for the help in advance and sorry if my description is vague.

if you're getting oil on you plug wires, it is def time for a valve cover gasket change. it comes with new spark plug tube seals as well probably costs like 15 bucks.

But do you think thats whats keeping the car from starting. im thinking its the battery. Either the terminals need to be cleaned or the battery is just weak. Any other suggestions. thanks
If the engine is cranking over at normal speed then the battery connections are not the problem.
How old are the spark plugs? What type plugs?
any kind of main't ever been done?
Pull the vacum line off the fuel pressure regulator [FPR] and check for raw gas in that line.
Try turning on the key and wait for the CEL to shut off, then crank the engine.
Repost any more info you can.

I dont know what plugs are in it right now or what condition they are. When i get back to the car onmonday i will check. I was wondering if having a little oil in the plug wells would cause it not to spark or start?

So it threw a code and i jumped the sensor to read the code and it came up 4 flashes then pause then 9 flashes so im guessing thats code 49. But i cant fine out what that means i have been searching. So now the car starts after i give it hit the gas pedal a couple times but the idle is rough for like 3 seconds and then it idles fine. I drove it but it wont go pass 4k rpm it bogs. So thats when i ran the code and got 49. Does anyone know what that means thanks

I just changed the plugs to brand new NGKs. That didnt help. Basically the car cranks but doesnt turn over. Once i do get it started it stutters for a second the check engine light comes on then it idles fine. But the car wont rev over 3.5k. Does anyone know what this could be
Don't know what the code means. I guess that's why they're called codes.
I would say anything battery related is not the answer.
I would say the oil on the wires/plugs is probably not the answer. My car is the same. Gotta RTV those stupid grommets.
My guess would be fuel/air delivery. Check the basics like obstructed air intake/filter. When was the last fuel filter changed?

I dont know about the fuel filter. But i have been reading on the forum and sounds like a MAIN RELAY. Does this sound like symptoms of a main relay? The battery is fine i had it checked
