Ok...the answer is probably no
But, I wanna check anyways
I have clearance issues with my cat O2 sensor hitting against my shift linkage and extension arm. If I could bend or shave off 5 mm it would greatly help my situation.

I had the same problem in my 98 GSR with the ST sway bars.
the answer is YES.
BUT: make sure you use an old o2 sensor and alot of heat (torch) and just bend it. BE CAREFUL not to oval out the hole.
Heat around the base and gently bend it in the right direction. You will have to remove the shielding. It will not hurt the CAT.. its used to getting that hot.
I did mine at a muffler shop.

I dont have any.. sorry..
But to try to be helpful.. it looks like the base of the 02 sensor (the threaded mounting hole) was crushed in a little.. but very hard to notice.

Just to clarify, I did not bend the actual 02 sensor, but the CAT and the mounting bung it fits into...
It was moved just enough to clear the sway bar.
The hole started to oval, so we stopped.
