ID Sensor on Side of J1 transmission, not Backup light
Sup folks. I have a J1 transmission. On the side of the transmission, i guess it would be considered the back of the trans, kinda where the plug is to disassemble it, there is a sensor, it has 2 prongs. It was hooked up in the car when I got it, and we broke it when we did the swap. I havent the slightest clue what it might be. Don't too much care, but i'm curious. Any input appreciated. TIA

Nope, thats not what i'm talking about. Not a newb. If thats what the previous poster was referring to then I still need an answer. Its on the "back" of the trans, by back I mean right off the passenger side wheel well, not the firewall. I'll try to get a pic when i get a chance.

Bumpin this back up, looked at it today, the wire that was installed traces back to Pin B18 on the Pr3 ecu. Any idea what this might have gone too?
