Default Could this be a distributor problem?

so whenever i start my car, it runs really rough until it warms up after a few minutes. i have to gas it during this time or else the RPMS will drop too 100 and almost die. Once its warmed up it runs okay 40% of the time. The other 60% of the time at a stoplight the idle will drop to like 400 or lower at times. I have changed my sparkplugs, wires, cap & rotors. I tested my battery and alternator and get perfect voltage readings. I also cleaned my IACV+throttle body. So is this my distributor causing this? any help is appreciated

Yea thats crazy, it would help to know what codes its throwing if any. I had this problem and it was wires, I would have to say this is an ignition module problem, which is inside the distributor.

if you haven't driven the car long, it wouldn't be enough to throw a code, usually takes 10 minutes or so for that one to pop up. it should be throwing CEL #8 like everyone elses civic is recently lol. that is DEFINITELY a dizzy problem.

did you try turning your dizzy towards the cab to advance the timing, throttle adjustments? if you accelerate and it wants to fall on it's face could be plugs and/or wires.
