i have a aem SRI and today when i drove it makes a hissing sound and dont stop until im fully stopped.i never had that noise before and it just starts making that sound. and when i take my key off in the ignition it sounds like its still hissing or sucking air?people says its normal but i never had that problem before. can any one tell me whats wrong? also can anyone tell me what would i know if theres something wrong with my intake

Question: What can POSSIBLY be wrong with it? What would a hissing sound mean?

Answer: Nothing. Its sucking in more air because it is an open-aired filter, so you can hear the air being sucked in. When you shut it off, you can hear it hiss for a split second because thats how long it takes to slow down and completely stop the air intake to the engine. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH YOUR INTAKE.
