hi guys, i dont know too much about building a good turbo setup mostly cuase my teg is all motor. but my girl is gonna give me her eg when she gets a new car soon, and i've been thinking about building a B series turbo to throw in it. The plan is to try and make a fun fast car without spending too much, so i was considering doing an LS or maybe a B16, what would you guys recomend? I'm planning on running the stock motor, probably upgrade the fuel and the exhaust but no internals. any advice is welcome and oppinions on what kind of results diferent settups will yield. TIA

b18b motor with around 10-12 psi good for 12s in most chassis. you can slap on just bolt on kit get nice setup for fuel simple but adequate and go have some fun.

 

cool thanks, thats what i want to do. so you suggest working with an LS over a B16 or b20?

 

go with b18b, cuz if **** hits the roof, the parts for the b18b come a dime a dozen
