Intake Question??? Help please

Default Intake Question??? Help please

i just bought a injen cold air intake for my 03 rsx type s......i put it in and when it was installed the intake makes the wheel well stick out......makein my tire not able to turn....somebody told me i have to cut alittle piece out of the wheel well.....is there any other ways of installing it without cutting the wheel well? thank you

You have to cut it, no other way around it

IMHO injen&gt;fujita&gt;aem

i have a fujita and yes you have to cut a bit of the fenderwell out.

injen sr intake works just as well. No hacking needed.

thanks alot for your help guys....would anyone have a pic of there intake where the wheel liner is cut so i can see and use as an example

At least ones that require cutting like that. My Icebox just required cutting of the splash guard under the engine bay for the duct to mount.
