Help! 91 Power window won't go up

Yup, that sums it up. You can sometimes 'fix' your window motor. It's just a simple wound copper coil with brushes. What happens is copper coil gets dirty and the brushes cannot make contact. Just take it apart, clean the coil & brushes with 200 grit sand paper and put back together. I'd say that 75% of the time this will do the trick.
As for the window switch part, one window switch (either driver or passenger side) causes the window not to go up - then the switch is the problem. However if you try both switches (passenger & driver side) and the problem is still there - then the switches are probably fine - your window motor might be the problem.
