I have a same problem too, and i used the mechine to check about the code about the "Check engine light". It showed the catalyist problem, and i unplug the battary connector and re-plug again...drive a little bit while, the check engine light on again...I dunno is it my exhaust (spoon catback exhaust) problem or intake problem (using injen intake)...

don't disconnect your entire battery...
There's a 20 amp Fuse for the ECU under the hood, pull that for 10 seconds or so.
The RSX O2 sensor is incredibly sensitive, the slightest knock or tap can break it.
To be sure, take it to autozone and borrow their OBD II reader, then you will know for sure.

i dont know the codes but i know it had to do with the heater efficency and with air flow ratio that what the code reader said it had like 4 codes and they all had to do with the air flow heater eficciency and the other 2 had to do something with the air not cleaning itself that what the computer said
Yea im getting that same thing, I went to get emissions on my 2002 Type S RSX with just catback exhaust and stock header and stock cat and INjen intake.. He said the code was from a fuel mixture something... He turned it off and it came back on.. and he said that I haft to let my car do a Dry Cycle first.. what the hell does that mean?
