87 crx 1.5 carb'd with carb problems

87 crx 1.5 carb'd with carb problems

it will start then idle for like 5 mins then dies! i looked in the barrels of the carb and the gaskets looked off and had silcone in them.....so i took it off and cleaned the carb and jets and seafoamed it!!!! still does the same thing!!!! can anyone help me out!!!!!!!!!!

maybe check fuel filters

might have bad plugs or wires

damp or cracked distributor cap

just a few things that might be worth checking...hope you get it running
