Default problems with my 94 civic (EG)

sometimes my car will start and sometimes it wont. my gf's uncle is a pretty good mechanic and ran his diagnostics test on my car and it came up as an ignitor or ignition problem i believe? he think's it's the ecm, because when the ecm goes into it's close cycle it shuts down the injectors. can anybody please help??

first your car isnt a classic so wrong forum

but to answer your question. it could be many things, we can diagnose a car over the net. but one think to look at is does the car start easier when its cold rather than hot, if thats the case it could be main relay. if you think its the computer, replace it with another and see, check to make sure the ignitor is get power from the computer first though before u go replacing stuff u dont need. has the ignitior been replaced if anything since you menitoned it to be a possible problem
