what obd is my car

i have a 1998 civic ex with the d16y8 is it obd2a or obd2b

should be obd2a, open you kick panel in the passengers side and take a look

it left the factory with OBD2A. If it's still stock, it should still be OBD2A.

by onpening the kick panel on passengers side, how would you know what obd you have? what is there to look for on the ECU? how can u tell what OBD you have?
