alarm shortcut diagrams
does anyone have a diagram for shortcuts for connections to the underdash fuse box. for an ef is what i need and any other ones for anyone else interested. thanks.
if this is unclear, what i mean is connections like 12v, grounds or something...i know theres a 12v connection that needs to be fused but are there secondary accessory hook ups down there?
Still unclear what you are asking? But here is a list of connection points for various alarm wires,
Battery WHITE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1 BLACK/YELLOW (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1 BLACK/WHITE (+) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
All Door Trigger GREEN/RED (-) DRIVERR'S KICK
Trunk Trigger GREEN/BLACK (-) AT HARNESS FROM DASH
Parking Lights RED/BLACK (+) AT FUSEBOX

The ignition harness 10 gauge wires go to the underdash fuse box w/out changing color. Verify each wire with a multimeter. The important thing is to have all your alarm connections grouped together so you can conceal them in split loom. There is no sense in going to the ignition harness for a couple wires and getting a couple more at the fuse box and a couple more in the driver's kick. That's going to stand out like a sore thumb and make a big spiderweb of aftermarket wires. If you can nearly all your connections on the backside of the fuse box; that would be ideal. But I prefer to put the alarm in the driver's side rear quarter, tag most of the wires in the door jamb harness, and just run the power and ignition wires to the back of the fusebox with some careful split looming and routing.

ok, what i'm asking is pretty confusing...in the ef's, the underdash fuse box has three extra male connections providing 12v+. there are other connections to add headlight warning beepers ( which usdm efs never came with stock or optional) etc.
You're talking about the option outputs on the fuse box. I have that info for 92-01 Civics, 90-01 Integras, but not the EF even though I had an EF Si for a short time. I'm going to guess that the far left is constant 12V, that there's a parking light input a few slots over, and there's some accessory 12v but no true ignition 12v. What you need to do is verify them with a multimeter. You can also go to honda hookup and download the Helms.
Just looked at the Helms and it shows the 5 option outputs but it doesn't tell you what they are.
The Helms are not consistent in what they tell you between different generations and makes of cars. Otherwise I'd have diagrams and line drawings for each car on my site.
