LS/VTEC swap brake booster question
Hey i got a question about the brake booster hose.. is there supposed to be a check valve or something on the hose? every time i hit the brakes the idle flucuates.. id assume there should be but i figured id ask.
its a b18c head and intake manifold in an EK for reference.
Oh another question.. i put a lightweight flywheel in too.. 8lbs.. would this make the engine stall if i take it out of gear at a high rpm? maybe i need to increase the idle a little? iacv sluggish? anyone else have a problem like this?

Yes there is. The brake booster hose has a one-way valve either in the hose (Civics) or between 2 pieces of hose (Integra).

No, it shouldn't stall. Your IACV probably isn't working well enough to compensate for the accelerated drop in engine speed.

You're right. Its been a while since I have answered any technical questions. Guess I should brush up a bit before I repond.
