Default p2p ecu?

Ive got a question, im doing a mini me and need the p2p ecu. now a freind of mine has one but it wont hook up to my car?? My car is a 99 cx hatch and im thinking his ecu was a obd2a computer and i need an obd2b computer. now is that found in just 99-00 ex civics or do u guys no of any other ecu that willwork? without changing mywireing harness! And my car is a standard so does that mean i have to use a standard ecu or can i use an auto one? Thanks

The obd2a and obd2b harnesses are not interchanable, if you want to use the p2p ecu your going to have to use the obd2b no the obd2a the plugs will not work. But you can also use any other vtec ecu that is obd1 withe the help of a jumper harness that can be bought for close to 75 bucks.

Ok...then get an obd2 ecu?
