alright, im running a 1100W xplod with a 1000W kenwood amp.
ive got a 2farad tsunami cap that i bought from a pawn shop and it came with no wires, no instructions, just the cap.
it has been used so it should be charged correct?
i have no idea how to install it..

Although it's probably overkill for that amp, since it puts out nowhere near a thousand watts, 4 ga power wire from the battery goes to the positive terminal on the capacitor. Then, from the same terminal, a 4 ga shot (as short as possible) to the positive terminal on the amp. 4 ga ground from the negative terminal on the capacitor to a good chassis ground, as short as possible.

If the cap has a display, and there's an extra terminal on it, then you would splice into the remote wire going to the amp.
