Default 2000 sh with a 97 base engine

ok so i have a 2000 sh lude with a bad motor. i am in the process of rebuilding a 97 base h22 motor and planning on swaping it into the sh. the base motor originally came out of a eg civic of mine but i never had the time to get it running. as far as i know the base motor has an obd1 dizzy and i have a chipped p28 ecu i am planning to use. Im going to be using the engine harness off of the sh and using it on the base engine. i also noticed that there is a resistor box for the injectors in the civic. im planning on buying a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness to use with the p28 ecu. Ive read alot about this subject but i am alittle confussed still. can anyone help me with some steps i can follow for doing this swap like what kind of wiring changes i have to make? thank you!

The base motor will not bolt on to SH tranny. so unless u have a base tranny and base axles and intermediate shaft to swap on to your SH, then the swap wil not work.

you'll need the resistor box with obdI injectors

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but you may to do some modifying to the '00 engine harness as I believe the '97 and '00 wiring is a little different; I'd have to go check my Helm's ETM, but I believe there were some small changes. If you have the harness for the '97, you may have better luck with it. I don't know, I might be totally whack on this, but just something to consider.
