Default Quick Q. re: DC Sports header

When installing a ceramic-coated header, do you keep or kill the existing OEM heat shield? Pros/cons of removing?

thanks.

There is no real reason to keep the heatshield. Other than it keeps some heat out of the exhuast bay. I removed mine even when I had the OEM header on.
