I didnt know where to post this so I am posting it here. I went to a shop in nj called N.O.S street performance in linden NJ. They performed a motor swap and turbo kit. I bought a gsr and they performed headstuds on it. First of all it took them 8 weeks to do a motor swap 8 weeks shady huh? Anyways one of the workers took my teg out and boosted it when it wasnt tuned yet and he called me to tell me that the rings got fried. They are saying I owe them 550 still for the swap plus they arent paying for the motor which is 1850. SO i bring them a running car which they drive around to get parts and take other customers for a ride what kind of shop is this. I am 2400 screwed now and get back a blown gsr ? Are they responsible for the 1850 for the gsr they blew up or am I? please help

ur gonna need to go back there and take pics of watever signs they have psoted on the walls of the shop. and pay attention to thefine print. to me, they should pay reemburse u or everything, being that u never got a chance to even drive the car. i would also contact my lawyer if i was u. good luck!!

Yeah I cant stand shops like this. Very Bad. Def they owe you the money for it.

 

Fu@king punks. i would sue them. 8 weeks unbelievable, seems to be alot of shops like that.
but if that were me i would have told them to fu@ck off after a month

 

they just made me pay 550 only in cash to get my car back on top of that

sucks man but hate to tell ya BBB wont do dick for u. did u pay cash or CC if u did pay CC contact ur card and take back the charge trust me worked a shop b4 handled all the front floor and ive gotten dicked by a kid who did that to me. at least u doing it will be for better good. if the CC asks why tell them theft by deception. also go to the local police department in that area and talk to them. again it will be charged as theft by deception against the shop might not do much good but thats as much as ull be able to do.

btw never heard of this shop in nj when did this place open? this isnt IVY's new shop is it???

 

no i think it use to be called on point tuning even tho they dont tune hmm? but yea they wouldnt let me release my car unless i paid cash they didnt take credit or check.. I also contacted the police he said he couldnt do anything when he came but he did say go to court that i have a good chance here so thats what i am doing now
