Default Help Please!

Hi everyone, I own a 95 del Sol and something extremely strange happened earlier. Out of no where, the following things happened (I am assuming they are all linked to one failed component):

-- All of the gauges (tach, speedo, clock, odometer, heat/fuel) do not function
-- Turn signals do not function
-- Power windows (driver/passenger/rear) do not work

It is possible other things are not functioning as well but the i do know that the radio works, interior light works, brake lights/defroster/hazards/aux lights all work as well.

I checked a few of the fuses both in the cabin of the car and under the hood, none of them were blown. The only aftermarket electronics in the car are a radio (installed professionally), radar detector (i used an add-a-fuse device to add an additional 12v outlet to the car since only has the cigarette lighter and mine happens to be not functioning either).

Does anyone know what could be causing this problem? Thanks in advanced.

UPDATE:

I checked all the fuses in both fuse boxes, all are fine. Is there a central device or connection thing that links all these systems (intsrument panel, power windows, turn signals) together?

i dont have a service manual with me but it is possible that those components share a common ground, or maybe theres a wire that has its insulation worn away and is touching a ground.

wiring problems suck, and unfortunately there is no "fix-it-quick" solution.

id start by inspecting the harness under the dash, maybe tug on the harness while the car is on see if any of the functions come back.

I have a Chilton manual, where should I look in it to for the ground location?

here talk to this man, sounds like the same car and same problem, and he fixed it, ask him what he did.

Update:

I decided to check every single fuse (before I just checked the ones that had symptoms) and discovered that that back up light fuse was blown. I replaced that and then everything worked good. However as soon as I tried to roll up the window the fuse would blow. Ive tried different ratings (10a goes in there), but all of them blow.

Hopefully this info helps someone help me figure out whats wrong

does it happen when u roll it down or just up? might be a problem in your switch or in the wiring obviously somethin is grounding out when u hit the power to the window. maybe check inside the door. and the wires that go from your door to the inner fender make sure they arent chaffed
