So to start off my car is a 92 DX. PS AC AT. I went to leave yesterday turned my lights on and all of my exterior lights came on but not the inside. But all of the HVAC control lights still work the ones that are in the buttons them selves. Dome light still works fine. All the gauges still work all the lights for parking brake seat belt high beams and so on. The gear selection light works if the lights are off, but not when I turn them on.

The car does not have a dimmer switch there is a block off plate there. Usually when my lights go out I change that out and problem is solved. But not this one. I have checked the fuses they are all good. Also when I first got the car the radio would just shut off and when it did the clock would get VERY dim. After a while the clock would get bright again and the radio will work. The radio and clock will also not hold memory when the car is turned off.

Double check whether fuse 19 is blown. Either use a multimeter or swap in a known good fuse. If the fuse is fine, remove the block off plate or go under the dash to inspect the rewiring that was done to remove the dimmer switch. You will likely find the solution to your problem there.

Regarding clock and radio memory, check whether the 7.5A BACKUP fuse under the hood is blown.

Clock works now and holds memory thanks man!!!! But I am still having issues with the lights. I think something is burned up. There is a 30 amp fuse in there. Any one else got any suggestions
