driver side window does not go down
is this something that can be fixed or do i need a new switch? Passenger side window on the driver side switch does work. And the passenger side switch works also.

maybe it fell off the track , does the window motor make noise when you move the switch ?

it could be the switch or the motor. Try putting 12v power and ground to the two wires into the motor and see if works. If it does, it's probably your switch; if not, it's more likely the motor.
My old EK use to fall off the track all the time. Useless you kept it lubed on the corners, the friction would cause one end to pop out and then you had to take off the whole door panal etc. No bad experiences with the dc2 though. If you try to go up or down and do you hear a click and a little jolt then you know everything is working and its probably off track.

can our windows fall off the track?
just curious...... because I would have thought that they could not because of the window pin guide system, or whatever it is called......
to the op, it sounds like the switch to me.....
