Default GSR motor mount problem

I have a 96 ek with a B18C1 swap i only have the rear and the 2 upper mounts and already broke the driver side mount and passengers drive shaft since then i have welded the mount solid and put on a new drive shaft, and have had no problems but now i put a stage 3 clutch and light wieght fly-wheel in it now the thing feels like i'm hitting my car with a sledge hammer every time i shift i was told if i'm not carfull i could snap my block where the driver side mount is so i need to find out what car or engien i need to get the 2 lower torker mounts off of so i can rip on it with out feeling like i'm going to break another mount or my block!!!

Hey I was just wondering when you put the GSR motor in ur car could you keep all of your other parts like your computer? Or do you have to change everything over to everything for the B18

I believe 99-00 Si torque mounts are what you need.

I'm pretty sure you can keep you computer but it most likely will throw a couple codes so try finding a P72 to work for ya.

Also Hasport mounts are great stuff and durable so spend your money on those and you wont have any problems

You need 99-00 Si EM1 L bracket. (Torque Bracket)

Driver Side Block bracket from 99-00 Si EM1 use the studs from D16Y8.

Lower Passenger Side Transmission Bracket from B Series. (Integra/EM1/Del Sol VTEC B16)

Lower Driver Side A/C bracket from Del Sol VTEC. (I used EM1 and it wouldnt line up correctly but it still worked with like one bolt removed.)

Use your stock harness, make sure you have the correct Jumper Harness OBD2a-OBD1 or OBD2b-OBD1.

Extend your Primary 02 sensor because SOHC have it in the front and B Series is under the intermidiate shaft before cat.

If your motor is OBD1 worry about finding a OBD2 Dizzy or making harness for it.

Rewiring Injectors.

Rewiring Alternator green plug.

OBD2 and OBD1 plugs for these 3 things is diffrent.

Before you do your swap remove your Throttle body!!!. How can I stress this!? I hate seeing [freak]ed up TPS sensors because jackasses dont remove the [freak]ing throttlebody its 2 hoses and 4 12mm bolts and a $5 gasket.

You will also need the GSR Upper and Lower Radiator hoses.

Remove your radiator so it wont crack like mine did since my friend slipped and engine smacked the radiator.

I had a JDM GSR swap in my 97 Coupe have fun and trust me its easy as hell! I didnt know how to even change brakes and I did this swap. I learned to change brakes after I did the swap. LOL. I learned to remove and put axles as I went with the swap. Good luck PM me for any more info. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I just did the swap of a GSR in 97 civic hatch you need the following

1 rear si bracket
2 side timming bracket from si
3 del sol b16 a/c bracket to keep ac
4 the tourque mount from the gsr tranny you can keep

all mounts can be kept from the sohc
You will have to use your wire harness from the sohc and do the iacv fix
o2 extension primary and extend a couple of plugs, wire up vtec, ckp has to many wires color match them and leave third one disconnected. you need jumper harness with obd1 comp. you can unpin plug and repin so you don't have to cut them. if you search the forum it shows you how to do the wiring
