HELP??? can i make a stock b16 cat into a straigh pipe
well i dont want to buy a test pipe so i was thinking to save some money...so has anyone tried this, someone told me that i could just take the s**t thats inside and pretty much make it lke a test pipe..CORRECT

thats correct. u can take **** out of a cat converter and run it like a test pipe. i had done it before. but clean that **** out is a mass

Unless your making some serious power, there is really no need to gut the cat or run a test pipe. Not worth the power and the hidden damage your really causing...

why? What else do you have done to your engine that you're looking at putting in a test pipe? If you dont have LOTS of supporting mods, you're probably only looking to gain between 1-2hp. not worth it. You breath air. You can live without 2hp. Your car will be stinky, sound like ****, and you'll pollute.
