Default NOS question

My friend has a NOS kit for sale for $200 with a 35 shot nozzle and a 100 shot nozzle.

I have a 93 del sol with a 1.5l engine everything is stock except for a headman header, is it a bad idea to put this on my car? My friend says it is but he said to check with you guys... if it is a bad idea what do I need on my car to make this work?

also I may eventually swap out the motor...so would it be a good idea to pick this up at this price and stash it?

If he's selling you a whole nitrous kit that has solenoids, lines, bottle, ect then its a great buy even if your not putting it on now. The 1.5L (d15b7) bottom ends arent that strong, but i think on a 35 shot you would be perfectly fine, just dont use the 100 shot. The condition of youre engine as is now will also determine how long it will continue to last running spray. Finally, it will be a good idea to adjust plugs/plug gap and timing for the nitrous, just to prolong and engine life and safety.

my previous engine blew, and I was gonna get a better engine but I replaced it with the same engine, my friend who put the engine in said it was very clean, I put on a new timing belt, water pump, starter, clutch, and thermostat, basically everything I could I replaced for something new...does that sound good? I will find out about the kit in about an hour(see what comes with it) is that adjustment to the timing or whatever you said hard to do?

ok, the condition of the motor im really talking about is inside, does it burn oil, have good compression, ect. But the adjustment is as easy as loosening the ditributor bolts and moving the distributor, literally. But make sure you time it with a timing gun to get it right.

35 shot in a 1.5 is a lost. 100 shot and say hello to your piston or at least whats not melted. If you do it your gonna get bored of a 35 shot. Get better rods and forged piston but that would be a lost unless you plan on keeping it.
