*sigh* not this rumor again. I swear, this needs to be on snopes.com.
Has anyone ever experienced a problem, on a modern Honda motor, from an Unorthodox crank pulley or the Honda N1 pulley?
And please, don't link the BMW article condeming these pulleys that was posted almost 10 years ago on the net.

254whp, Evolution Industries Crank Pulley. Single Belt, no dampening. 9k RPMs. Bearings look good.

So... do any of you actually speak from experience? Or is your skepticism based on H-T hearsay.
I personally run the N1 pulley. I have for almost 20k. I also know others with 2-3 times that on the N1 pulley as well. No isses.

I've got the UR kit(crank, alt,ps) and it's been fine. So far I've never had a problem and it's been over 3 years; 2 of which were daily driving. I didn't really noticed any benefits other than dimmer lights. I would definitely go the ATi/Fluidampr route if/when I build the motor.

Nope. Everyone just repeats the rumors they've heard on the internet.
Underdrive pulley on a Honda = Bigfoot. Everyone has heard the story, but no one has really seen it.

No ****. 300k miles on the first motor I put an UR crank pulley on. That one has spent a good deal of it's time bouncing off the rev limiter in 2nd gear. The new motor in the latest STS car already has 3 seasons of autocross only duty with a 7800rpm rev limiter. Oil pressure is still perfect on that motor. That is a long strong z6 motor. The R is getting the UR pulley too. Not one iota of concern about it. Now, those stock rings with only 100k blowing oil already....
