Alarm antenna location.
If I move the antenna so that the wires stretch out more, would I get better receptions? You guys probably don't understand stupid language, so here's a picture:
The blue box is the current location of the antenna. I plan to move to it to the orange spot. Will that help, or am I just wasting my time? [IMG]

No idea what kind of vehicle that's supposed to be, but the antenna should ideally be mounted in the top middle of the windshield, with the excess antenna wire stretched out in the headliner (not coiled up somewhere).
Also, where is your alarm grounded?

What if I mount on the top middle of the windshield (like in the picture, right) and the wire is still too long, what would I do?
As far as the ground, it's onto one of the screws behind where you put your coins in.

First of all, I already told you what to do with the excess wire.
Second, a random screw in the dash somewhere is not an acceptable ground point for an alarm. It needs to be attached securely to the car's body. Scrape some paint from the kick panel and ground it there with a screw & lockwasher.

How do you know it's not securely attached to the car's body, with a screw & lockwasher?

What don't you understand about stretching the excess up in the headliner?
Let me explain better for you.
From the alarm brain, extend wire so there's little slack. Run wire up the "A" pillar, then over as far as you can go. Then, double back to the antenna location.
I guess I didn't realize that I was talking over your head. My apologies. I'll know better next time to dumb down my posts for you.
In regards to your ground. Dash supports or any metal in the dash is considered a secondary ground, and therefore, not recommended for a ground point for an alarm. It should be grounded to the body sheetmetal.
I don't know that it's not grounded to the car's body. You stated "behind where you put your coins" so I assumed that it was attached in the dash somewhere. If it's not, then great. One less thing we need to discuss.

Wow, I never thought of it like that before. Thanks!

Yeah, it's grounded to the chassis.
So, after doing this, it "should" increase the range a little bit right. I mean, what's the point of getting a two-way alarm if the signal can't even reach you.

The flashy remote. Derrrrrrrr
I usually mount antennas in the headliner. I hate visible alarm components.
