Default NHRA N.E. Divisional "inspector"

The Story.

i have been trying to get my car certified since june of 2007. the 1st time we tried to get the car cert'd, the car wouldnt pass (cage was built before the "d bar rule").. so we had to install the D-bars and the rocker box cross bar. http://www.jmfabrications.com did the install.

at the time, there were 2 inspectors in the area (about a half an hour from where the car "calls" home)... needless to say, i have been trying to get the car certified(after D-bar) since probably september of 07 or so, with no luck contacting either of the 2 contacts i had. with the race season approching us very quickly, there is no time to sleep !

so.... on monday ( March 9th 2008) i contacted the NHRA NE division office. i was then put into contact with Bob Nixon (hails out of northern PA) i was quickly contacted back, and the date was set. he came out 1 day after i had talked with him (yes he drove to me) and the car is now certified. i couldnt be more happier with the situation. the cage is now good to 8.50 or 180mph, whichever comes 1st so, if you are in the PA,NJ,NY,CT area and need a cage cert'd ASAP, this is your guy !

He also put in a few good words for NRG-Tech, and Evans Tuning

If anyone needs his contact information, email or PM me, i will give you his contact informations

now its time to grow some nuts & see what she's made of !!

2 pics for your entertainment

the d bars/rocker cross bar

and the most expensive sticker ive ever purchased

Bob is a great guy! He lives about 10 minutes from our shop, and does cage cert every so often for our customers. Costs a little more, but he comes to your shop which makes getting the cage cert so much easier.

I also had him come out to certify the cage in my car last year. Glad you were able to get your car cert's done.

Good luck on the track.
