i got a 2000 si and yesterday afternoon while i was driving my speed sensor craped out....come to find out it was my alternator fuse that poped....so i go and changed it,then drove my car..then for the first minute my mph worked again.. then the fuse crapped out..fuse poped again....(changed it more than 5 times and still keeps on blowing.....whats the problem? could my altornator be bad or my vss? need your guys help...thanks...

 

have you done anything electrical wise lately?

a fuse pops because of high amps. either a short to ground, or something in your circuit consuming alot of it.

im thinking its your vss about to take a crap, drawing excessive current.

u have a short somewhere if u continue to clow fuses as soon as u change them, check for lose wires that might be grounded out. I found some behind my radio that kept blowin the fuse for my gauge cluster was a real pain n the ****
