so i did a head gasket on a 95 dx. got everything back all together and now its reving up and down. i put a new intake main. gasket on.

it revs up and down wen its in gear as well. its a auto. please help me.

i know there could be a bunch of things rong. the car was not doin this before i tore it apart..

 

vacum leak. check all your hoseson the intake mani

 

i think u might have a vacume leak. check all the nuts and bolts are tight.and did u clean iacv while u were doing intake manifold job ?
it should sound like a high pitch whistle ,right ?

 

x3 vacuum leak. Had the exact same problem my D16Y7.
