Default coolant leak(HELP)

i have coolant leaking around the dizzy area. i have a leak to the left of the upper radiator hose next to the dizzy bolts on to the side of the head and one just right under the dizzy. anyone got any ideas or clues of what could be going on? i was thinking either thermostat or bad hose maybe?

Might the leak be from around the coolant temperature sensor located below the dizzy?

have check on the car yet..havent found the time to..just been sittin in the garage..but just thought of something..the car has lil smoke coming from the engine bay around the dizzy area after driving..i dont know if the car is over heating or is it just the steam coming from coolant hittin hot surface..reason why i dont know if its over heating is because my temp. gauge sits under half way..so i dont know rather is over heating from a blown head gasket, which i hope its not..or is it just a leak from some kind of hose etc.?

I wouldn't yet consider a head gasket problem until you have attempted to locate and repair the coolant leak.
