Default Need HONE or BORED H22 if new RINGS installed?

hey guys im putting a h22 in my civic, im replacing bearings and little things here and there, i also am puttin in new oem piston rings. Some of my buddies said i have to get my block honed or bored before i can put new rings in do to the FRM coating is this true?

ok thanks man! any other input? people were telling me obviously it wont be exactly perfectly round all the way down if i do not hone or bore, but it will run good tho.

i think that should be in faqs because i doubt ppl know that you dont have to hone for new rings always.
